Following widespread opposition from the community, the SCC withdrew its SHOALHAVEN HERITAGE STRATEGY 2025-2028 and put it out for public comment. The HHA held a public community meeting to discuss this on the 11th of October.

The HHA opposed two DAs lodged by Sealark in Culburra.
We were supporting The Jerrinja LALC when it said While these may appear to be relatively innocuous works, we view them as an indicator of the broader vision for South and West Culburra regardless of the reduction in scale Sealark originally agreed to.
Already the Culburra Development has seen over 19,000 artifacts removed from the site!.
